Mic check, one, two.  Stacia D. Wright first hit up the mic as a freshman at Oakwood University as the morning and afternoon drive-time host at 90.1 FM WOCG.  She graduated with a BA in Communications and embarked on an impressive career that spans everything from film, radio, production, event management, on-air and on-camera talent to emerging media mogul.  Never one to back away from a challenge, Wright has successfully integrated her talents as a one-woman powerhouse.  Pinpointing her passion is a whole other challenge within itself.  “The common thread is connecting people, whether hosting, managing, producing or interviewing,” Wright explains.

B. Reel Media Management, LLC was founded by Wright in 2005. Her company produces and manages numerous events, galas, fundraisers and concerts as well as booking talent. A short list includes the DC Gospel Fest, US Dream Academy Gala, The North Alabama Campaign Annual United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Gala hosted by Oakwood University, Brian Culbertson’s Napa Valley Jazz Getaway for the past three years and most recently the Washington Adventist University graduation two years in a row.  A seasoned leader, she honed her leadership and mentoring skills as the co-founder and producer of the annual international SONscreen Film Festival, which she senior produced for 8 years.  She served as the Executive Director of Adventist Event Planners Association (AEPA) for two consecutive terms. As a host and on-camera talent she moderates panels and hosts live events as well as corporate and training videos.  She was the host and producer of The Stacia D. Wright show – THE DRIVE (The Drive SDW) on BRITE Radio (www.BRITEradio.org) which received a 2016 Stellar Award Nomination for Internet Radio Station of the year.  Wright is also the creator of the hit viral potty training video, “Ginneh’s Potty Song,” starring her daughter Ginneh.

Most recently she diversified her work experience portfolio and learned to pivot her skill set in the wake of the Covid19 —Corona Virus pandemic, which crippled the traditional event, hospitality and entertainment industries and is now also a program analyst for the federal government.  She resides in the Washington DC Metropolitan area doing her favorite job of all—raising two beautiful children.
